Our Story

A Brighton icon
since 1954.

Blue Bird Bakery has been a much-loved part of Brighton since 1954, run by one family for over 50 years. Today it's in the hands of Angela and Mark McLaren, who have kept everything that made it special.

Mark pulls a great barista coffee and loves to have a chat. Angela's personal favourite? The chicken, leek & mushroom pie — a silver medal winner and one of our top sellers. Pop in for a pie or a sweet treat and stay for a coffee.
